Veloce script

If your host has particularly strict settings (like Safe Mode or disabled file write permissions) and if you have problems uploading multiple files onto the webserver via FTP, you can make use of the Veloce PHP script.
Steps
- Set your FTP client mode to auto
- Connect via FTP to your host
- Upload the tarball archive (.tar.gz extension) into a directory that PHP can write to
- Upload the veloce.php file to the same directory
- Run veloce.php using your web browser (for example http://www.example.org/laniuscms/veloce.php)
- When finished, click on Exit & Delete which will automatically delete the tar.gz archive and the veloce.php script
