Module/Latest news

With this module the administrator can enable/disable the display of the latest news.

Parameters

The following parameters are available to the administrator:

  • Show description: This parameter when enabled will show a description of each news item
  • Count: This parameter controls the number of items to be displayed, by default this is set to 5
  • Number of columns to use: This parameter controls the number of columns the module should use, by default this is set to 1
  • Content section (overrides category): This parameter controls from which content section the module should select the latest news, this parameter overrides the content category field
  • Content category: This parameter selects latest items from the specific category the administrator will select. For this parameter to work correctly the Content Section parameter should be set to "None"
