From Lanius CMS Wiki

We have chosen a more easily editable form of online documents, a wiki, instead of using XHTML or DocBook as our documentation primary format.

Now you can be the documentation editor and reviewer with a few clicks: login to our wiki with the account credentials of the Lanius CMS Official website and start editing!

Help areas

We need help in these areas:

• proper wiki formatting of current pages
• splitting of wiki pages in units
• correctness of material, which is a lot outdated
• integration of old XHTML documentation not present in the wiki, e.g. that in lang/en/docs/ directory
• removal of Drake CMS references
• removal of browser references (e.g. window titles)
• removal of bad snapshots (wrong size, wrong palette, wrong cut etc.)
• fix referenced example URLs (all example URLs should point to example.org)
• remove double title in pages (replace subtitles with introductory explanation if necessary)

We are officially looking for help, please participate now to the project documentation write effort! There is room for F.A.Q.s and tutorials on the project wiki, which is a community resource.

A major rework of the current wiki pages is wanted, so if you have a doubt about doing or not a change, we prefer you to do it anyway. Thanks to the wiki history feature reviewers will be able to find mistakes.

Some rules

• use PNG 8-bit where possible, without window decorations and in 800x600 or 1024x768 format
• do not put == Title == at the beginning of wiki pages, it's a duplicate
• before creating a new page, look if something similar does not already exist in Special:Allpages
