Component/Weblinks

The Weblinks component is a collection of links such as favourite links, Lanius CMS links, or whatever you like. The component makes it possible to count the number of clicks for each link and registered users can submit new links from the Front-end.

To manage Web Links in the Administrator menu, select Components > Web Links. The sub menu provides you with two options to manage the Links, Items and Categories.

To display the Web Links in the Front-end, you include the component in your menu structure you must ensure that it is published.

Parameters

The parameters available for customization by the administrator are located at Menu > mainmenu > Weblinks.

The following parameters are available to the administrator:

  • Hide hits count: This parameter specifies whether or not the hist for each weblink are displayed, by default this is set to No
  • Number of items to show: This parameter specifies how many weblinks should be on each page, by default this is set to 10.
