Component/Polls

The Polls component allows you to manage and create different polls for your visitors. The questions you ask can be useful for information purposes.

After publishing the poll you need to activate the Polls module. You can choose where you would like the poll to be published and on which page. The module will also provide a link to show the results of your poll.

Parameters

The parameters available for customization by the administrator are located at Menu > mainmenu > Polls.

The following parameters are available to the administrator:

• Poll ID (use 0 to show polls selection): This parameter specifies the Poll ID, if you have many polls then it is recommended to type 0 in this field, by default this is set to 0
• Delay between votes: This parameter specifies the delay between votes from the same IP Address to avoid SPAM, by default this is set to 86400 seconds (24 hours)
