This component allows the administrator to enable/disable the Forum.
Parameters
The parameters available for customization by the administrator are located at Menu > mainmenu > Forum.
The following parameters are available to the administrator:
- Replace bad words with: This parameter specifies what the bad words should be replaced with, by default this is ****
- Bad words: This parameter specifies the bad words, the words should be separated by the use of a comma
- Number of categories or topics to show per page: This parameter specifies how many categories or topics should be shown per page, by default this is set to 10
- Expand section categories inline: This parameter specifies whether section categories should be expanded inline or not
- Replies prefix: This parameter specifies the prefix in all replies, by default this is "Re:"
- Notify new topics to moderators/administrators: This parameter specifies if moderators/administrators should be notified when new topics are added to the forums
- Allow upload of user avatars: This parameter specifies whether users should be able to upload custom avatars or not
- Resize uploaded avatar if height or width is greater than specified value: This parameter specifies how big the avatars should be, by default this is set to 48
- Allow [img] tags in BB code: This parameter specifies if [img] tags should be allowed or not
- Enable forum syndication feeds: This parameter specifies if forum syndication feeds should be enabled or disabled
