This component allows the administrator, the manager or the publisher to add/edit/delete content.

Parameters

The parameters available for customization by the administrator are located at Menu > mainmenu > News.

The following parameters are available to the administrator:

  • Number of entries in blog view: This parameter specifies the number of entries in blog view, by default this is set to 30
  • Number of entries in category view: This parameter specifies the number of entries in category view, by default this is set to 10
  • Hide email to a friend icon: This parameter specifies whether or not the email to friend icon should be hidden
  • Enable CAPTCHA for send to a friend feature for users below this level: This parameter specifies to whom CAPTCHA should be shown, by default this is set to the group Registered
  • Hide print icon: This parameter specifies whether or not the print icon should be hidden
  • Hide author: This parameter specifies whether or not the author should be hidden
  • Hide created date: This parameter specifies whether or not the creation date should be hidden
  • Hide modified date: This parameter specifies whether or not the last modified date should be hidden
  • Hide permalink: This parameter specifies whether or not the permalink should be hidden
  • Hide export to PDF icon: This parameter specifies whether or not the export to PDF icon should be hidden
  • Enable caching of unmodified exports: This parameter if enabled will cache the PDF export for each content item and the cached file will be updated when the content item is updated
