Component/Banner component

This component allows you to display banners in rotation on your site.

The Banner component, accessed via the Components menu item, allows access to basic features to be set like the actual Banner image, Banner URL and custom javascript.

The Banner module, accessed via System > Modules manager, sets the display position for the banner and a number of other advanced parameters. See the Banners Module to see all of the available advanced paramenters

Banners can be displayed on your site by simply publishing the banner once it has been created through the Banner component. It is also necessary to note that their location is dependent upon the template being used for your site.

Parameters

The parameters available for customization by the administrator are located at Menu > mainmenu > Banners.
