Tarball Backup
Sometimes you'd like to make more than a backup of only the database, but also of user files (which are available in /private directory after installation). This can be done through the System => Tarball Backup page.
You can download backup by clicking on Download hyperlink next to the database backup file name.
Creating backup
New tarball backup can be created after pressing on the Create button. A page with multiple selections will be displayed. From here you can specify which data your tarball backup will contain.
When you are ready, press the Continue button. The result page will be displayed.
Clicking on the provided hyperlink allows to download a backup
file. After downloading you can delete it by pressing
Delete button.
Updating backup
The Update action will synchronize files in your backup archive against existing files on your website; if a file does not exist on the website, it is kept in the archive.
New files are not added to the archive; you will need to create a new tarball backup to backup them.
Deleting backup
When you no longer need a tarball backup, you can delete it. Select the checkbox next to the backup you want to delete and press Delete button. A prompt window will be displayed, asking if you want to proceed.
Click OK. The file is deleted, and the
Tarball Backup page is updated.
