Component

Components are content specialized elements or applications. Lanius CMS includes a number of core components and in the future may support the possibility to enhance its features with additional 3rd party components. The built-in components, which are included with Lanius CMS, are part of the core features. In the future there is the possibility that third party components that have been validated for Lanius CMS, will be available at the Lanius CMS home page.

Components are modular in nature, which makes it possible to enhance the features of Lanius CMS in any direction.

A component is active only when linked to a Menu item. Visitors and/or Users are able to view the content of the component by clicking on the link of this Menu item. It is usually displayed in the main content area of the site.
